This beautiful apartment in a 1960's block in the leafy heart of Hampstead was in need of a substantial refurbishment. MWAI has transformed this out-dated flat into a bright, spacious contemporary home, where minimal details and integrated joinery are at the heart of the refurbishment.
We took the opportunity to restructure the layout and allow free flow between kitchen, living room and dining room. Minimal details are everywhere, from the shadow-gap skirtings to the doors, lighting and furniture.
Typical 1960’s features have been reinterpreted throughout the apartment. Wall panelling is stripped and becomes functional in the form of new doors.
Wallpaper gives way to polished plaster to give softness to the space.
