MWAI was appointed to design and deliver the headquarters office fit-out for Nespresso Italiana SpA in Milan, Italy. The project involved the refurbishment of 1,200 sqm across three floors, accommodating 140 employees in a mix of open-plan, cellular and call centre workstations.
Working in close collaboration with Nespresso’s corporate marketing and brand team, MWAI developed a design that reflects the company’s refined identity while prioritising sustainability and practicality. The programme was ambitious—just nine months from concept to completion—but the team delivered on time and to brief.
The interiors are modern and stylish, with bespoke joinery and graphic detailing that reinforce Nespresso’s brand values. The layout supports both focused work and collaboration, with flexible zones tailored to different operational needs. MWAI’s role spanned architecture, interior design and lead consultancy, ensuring cohesion across every detail.
