A home shaped by subtle moves and thoughtful materials.
Set at the boundary between the Norland and Holland Park Conservation Areas, this Victorian terrace had evolved over time—from multiple flats into a single family home. MWAI was commissioned to bring cohesion, clarity and comfort to the space through a light-touch renovation focused on interiors.
The design centred on a few key architectural moves: a new entrance hall and staircase connecting the ground and lower ground floors, and the opening up of main rooms to improve light and visual flow. On the upper levels, three new bathrooms and bespoke joinery were introduced to support the needs of a growing family.
Contemporary finishes and furniture were layered throughout, including book-matched marble, micro-cement surfaces, and carefully selected loose pieces. The result is a home that feels connected, calm and quietly luxurious—where every detail supports the rhythm of daily life.
