The Newbury Manor Hotel is set within beautiful grounds and on the bank of the River Lambourn in West Berkshire. The existing hotel consists of the beautiful Grade II listed house, and a series of add on buildings in varying architectural styles. Unfortunately due to years of neglect, the hotel has run into disrepair and is no longer in operation.
MWAI have recently completed an early stage feasibility study exploring the opportunity to accommodate a new hotel to enhance the character of the listed building. The project requires a strong sense of strategic planning to maximise the commercial viability, while ensuring architectural sensibility towards the local ecology and heritage of the site.
