Sanctuary Housing Group commissioned MWAI to investigate residential development opportunities on a brownfield regeneration site in Telford. This innovative and distinctive housing scheme required MWAI’s strategic design to work within strict ecological and sustainable guidelines.
A series of cottages, called 'Glen Cottages', currently occupies part of the site and the brief called for the refurbishment of the existing cottages and the erection of nine new-build houses. The proposal allows for four 3 bed - five persons houses and five 2 bed – four persons houses.
The scheme is part of the Telford Millennium Village.
Planning achieved in October 2012.
