Phased refurbishment as the Grade II Listed Sofitel St James's, Sofitel's flagship brand Hotel in London. Project in Progress.

MWAI worked closely with the Hotel Operator and Paris based interior design team PYR to deliver a phased refurbishment of Sofitels Grade II Listed luxury, flagship 180 bedroom hotel – whilst the hotel is in operation.

Sofitel St James is a Grade II listed building, situated on a prominent corner of the Nash Terrace of Pall Mall & Waterloo Place junction in The Crown Estate. The building has undergone numerous major internal refurbishments Post-war, removing many of the original internal Listed features.

The facade required replacing however – requiring Listed Building Consent for the metal framed windows, roofing, sash windows. The bedrooms, bathrooms, corridor scheme and doors were all upgraded.
