MWAI Derby Street stone floor Listed front room

Shepherds Market Restoration

mayfair, london

client testimonial: The team at MWAI were a pleasure to work with during the extensive renovation of our Mayfair home, a project that lasted 2 years. They were highly professional with a keen eye for detail. The proof of the pudding, as they say, is in the fact that we have just instructed MWAI again in relation to another London property;

Shepherds Market Restoration mayfair, london

From disrepair to distinction: a story of renewal.

This Grade II-listed Georgian townhouse in Shepherds Market, Mayfair had lost much of its original character. MWAI led a full six-storey refurbishment, reinstating the historic floor plan and introducing a glazed conservatory to bring light and openness to the rear of the property.

The design focused on spatial clarity and material continuity. Chevron-cut stone and timber floors were paired with bespoke joinery and a new staircase that runs the full height of the house. The result is a refined, contemporary home that respects its heritage while supporting the needs of a seven-member family.
